After her book reading, U.S. Consul General Jennifer McIntyre answers the questions from the children.

Consul General Jennifer McIntyre, along with Cultural Affairs Officer Corinna Ybarra Arnold and Information Officer Anand Krishna, joined more than 400 students at the American Library on Saturday, November 19, 2011 to celebrate Universal Children’s Day.  They highlighted the benefits of reading and answered queries from the children about their favorite books, characters and authors, and other topics including the United States and India.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the brain teaser puzzles in an activity booklet provided by the library, as well as special movies screenings the Consulate was showing in honor of Native American Month:  A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Pocahontas and Brother Bear.
