A Tribute to Stevie Wonder - Signed, Sealed & Delivered

June 23: A collection of sensational Indian musicians and recording artists brought together by the U.S. Consulate General-Chennai and The Exodus will perform to honor American music legend, Stevie Wonder, in a special tribute concert this Saturday, June 27, 2009.  

Stevie Wonder is not only an award-winning musician who has inspired music-lovers all around the world, but he is also an activist who has consistently used his music-industry influence to better the world by raising awareness about a broad variety of issues from drunk driving to racism in apartheid South Africa. Overcoming blindness and childhood poverty, Stevie Wonder has also done great work advocating for civil rights and helping underprivileged youth.

 “A Tribute to Stevie Wonder - Signed, Sealed & Delivered” is a concert to recognize Stevie Wonder’s musical achievement and admirable work in promoting world peace.

Featured musical artists will include Benny Dayal, Sunitha Sarathy, Anu Cheyyur and Devan (vocals) with Keith Peters (bass), Vijji Cheyyur (keyboard), Jeo George (drums), Joshua Raj (guitar), Allwyn (percussion) and Matthew Littlewood (saxophone).
