The United States Educational Foundation in India Announces 2009-2010 Fellowships for Indian Citizens

New Delhi -- The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) announced today it is accepting applications and proposals for Fulbright fellowships for the academic year 2009-2010. USEFI’s fellowship competitions are open to Indian students, academics, teachers and professionals in all sectors.
Fulbright fellowships are available for research, teaching and professional development in the United States in a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to agriculture, business, communication, educational administration, environment, social sciences, management, public administration, public health, science, technology and engineering, management, and urban and regional planning.
Screening and selection committees look for talented individuals whose projects are important to India and the U.S. and who have the ability to be good “cultural ambassadors.”
Since 1950, USEFI has awarded approximately 7,900 Fulbright Fellowships to both Indians and Americans.
