Political Officer Rohit Nepal responds to a question from a journalism student
On July 11, 2008, Political Officer Rohit Nepal addressed over 150 students of Journalism and Mass Communication on “The state of the 2008 U.S. elections” at M.O.P Vaishnav College. The students demonstrated keen interest and knowledge about the U.S. elections. Mr. Nepal gave an overview of the election process in the U.S. and how the President of the United States is elected, highlighting how the 2008 elections differ from previous elections. He responded to several questions on the influence of journalism and media in election campaigns.
