Make Chai Not War
What happens when you take three Indian American comedians - two Hindu and one Muslim - and send them to India? When it's "Make Chai Not War," you get a lot of laughs -- and "a healthy dose of political incorrectness!"
Rajiv Satyal, Azhar Usman and Hari Kondabolu have been bringing audiences of diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds together through laughter. Now, these three, critically acclaimed American comedians of Indian ancestry will bring their side-splitting, thought-provoking show MAKE CHAI NOT WAR to seven cities in India - starting with Chennai and Bangalore! - January 4-17, courtesy of the U.S. Department of State.
The event is FREE, but seating is first come, first served. You can pick up complimentary passes at The American Library at the U.S. Consulate General, 220 Anna Salai or at the Baskin-Robbins outlets at Express Ave. Mall, Ampa SKY Walk, Adyar, and Cathedral Road (near Stella Maris College).
