July 9, 2009

New Delhi: U.S. Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Peter Burleigh will congratulate students leaving for studies in the U.S. in autumn 2009 at United States-India Educational Foundation's (USIEF) pre-departure orientation program on Friday, July 10. An exciting evening extravaganza will follow at the USIEF Fulbright House, 12, Hailey Road, from 6:30pm onwards.

Students will have the opportunity to interact with U.S. alumni, Indian and American faculty, officials from the U.S. Embassy, Fulbright scholars and other professionals. Participating students will also have the chance to network with fellow Indian students going to the U.S. later this year.

At Fulbright House, there will be live music and lucky draws as well as an American snack buffet.

The program is open to all students admitted for study in the U.S. in fall 2009. As seats are limited, registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
