Consulate Staff Honor Eid al-Adha

Acting Consul General/Consular Chief Nick Manring presents Moulana Mufti Salahuddin Mohammed Ayub, Chief Qazi to the Government of Tamil Nadu, and Dr. Syed M.M. Ameen, President of the Home for Poor Boys, with a donation check from the U.S. Consulate.

To commemorate the Eid al-Adha holiday, the U.S. Consulate Chennai collected individual contributions from its employees for the Home for Poor Boys, Madrasa-i-Azam, in Chennai. 

Speaking to an audience of over 50 residents on October 26, 2012, Acting Consul General & Consular Chief Nick Manring wished the entire organization a happy Eid, as he presented the generous donation to Moulana Mufti Salahuddin Mohammed Ayub, Chief Qazi to the Government of Tamil Nadu, and Dr. Syed M.M. Ameen, President of the Home for Poor Boys.
