U.S. Consulate General to host visa sessions in Salem, Nammakal and Erode

CHENNAI: Officials from the U.S. Consulate General Chennai will host information sessions on the visa application process at Salem, Nammakal and Erode from January 30 to February 01, 2012.

Vice Consul Michelle Zjhra and Officials from the U.S. Consulate will answer questions on student visas and the visa application process. As the United States strives to facilitate legitimate travel, the goal here is to present applicants with a clear picture of the visa rules and application process.

The scheduled sessions:

• Sona College of Technology, Salem (January 30, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon)
• Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal District (January 30, 03:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m.)
• Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, Erode (January 31, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon)
• Velalar College of Engineering Technology, Thindal, Erode (January 31, 02:30 p.m. to 03:30 p.m.)
• Salem College of Engineering (February 01, 02:30 p.m. to 03:30 p.m.)
