A Discussion On Student And Business Visas

Chennai, April 23, 2007: Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Kerala chapter and United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI), Chennai will hold a presentation about student and business visas to the United States on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Hotel International, M.G. Road, Ernakulam.  Mr. Ian Hopper, Deputy Chief of the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit, United States Consulate General, Chennai will be the principal speaker at the program.  Mr. Hopper will provide information on visa application procedures, discuss guidelines used in adjudicating visas and answer general questions on visas. Students planning to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral studies in the U.S. and individuals interested in visiting the United States for official or business purposes are encouraged to attend this program.  Anyone interested in attending the program must register in advance.  Registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis.  Please call 2313434 (IACC) for information on registration.

USEFI (http://www.fulbright-india.org/) was established in 1950 through an exchange agreement between India and the United States to administer Fulbright fellowships fostering exchange between Indian and American scholars.
