Bryan Dalton

Consular Section Chief

Bryan Dalton has been Chief of the Consular Section since August 2008.  A career diplomat since 1987 and member of the Senior Foreign Service, he has served in Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Washington DC (covering West Africa), New York and Romania.  His foreign languages are Vietnamese, Romanian, Spanish, German, French, Mandarin Chinese and Thai.  From 1998-2000 he led the officially recognized employee association, Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies (GLIFAA), promoting workplace equality in U.S. Federal Government agencies.   His B.S. degree in Foreign Service is from Georgetown University and his Masters in Public Policy is from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
