The American Library Visits Mysore

Traveling exhibition of American Library

More than 1,500 academics, students, media professionals, government officials and members of the general public joined the American Library, Chennai during its traveling exhibition in Mysore last week. Book displays, video screenings and orientation programs, as well as a web chat on Internet Freedom, were all part of the activities that made the event held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, a co-sponsor of the program, a success. As one participant noted, “Mysore City is really grateful [that] you guys came. The student community gives you a thumbs up! Great idea!”
