American Library Travels to Tiruchirapalli

The American Library of the U.S. Consulate General-Chennai brought an exhibition of its resources to reach out to audiences in the vibrant and dynamic city of Tiruchiruppalli. Dr. M. Ponnavaikko, Vice-Chancellor of Bharathidasan University, Chennai American Consulate’s Consul for Public Affairs Michael Pelletier, and Bishop Heber College Principal Dr. Marcus Bhoominathan participated in the inauguration on September 1 at the Bishop Heber College. Students and faculty from various educational institutions visited the exhibition in large numbers, and learned of the extensive print and electronic resources and services offered by the American Library. The two-day exhibition, September 2-3, attracted more than 2000 visitors.
