Connecting with U.S. “as easy as ABC”

U.S. Consul General Jennifer McIntyre joined Foreign Commercial Service Officer Jim Golsen in inaugurating the first American Business Corner in Madurai on January 18, 2012. The new business corner is located at the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  

Consul General McIntyre noted the robust economic ties between the U.S. and India, and how the message from Washington is “to continue to open doors for greater private sector engagement.” She added: “As a result, the U.S. Commercial Service is partnering with local chambers of commerce throughout South India to make connecting with the U.S. as easy as ABC.”
